JOLTs survey September 2019
The JOLTs survey corresponding to the month of September 2019 has been published today.
The job offers and staff turnover survey is a survey conducted by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics to help measure job vacancies. Collect data from employers, including different retailers, manufacturers and offices each month. Respondents answer quantitative and qualitative questions about employment, job offers, hiring, hiring and service separations of their companies. The survey data on job vacancies and staff turnover are published monthly and organized by region and industry.
The data shown (7,051M) are slightly lower than what the market expected (7,191M) and show us that we have since March with slight reductions in job vacancies, being a sign of economic slowdown, although it is still a very high figure and therefore does not show us crisis, at this time.
